'Don't wake me up' is the stunning second album from Danish producer Ganga...
...who is taking the chillout scene by storm. Ganga aka Christian Ronn started playing the guitar and piano and writing songs at an early age before going on to study literature at university. His writing skills saw him have a collection of poems published before he turned his sights back onto his first love, music. After a further 6 years of study, he graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music where he excelled in improvisation. Naturally, this lead to him composing and producing his own tracks, which were quickly snapped up for use in films and television. Despite coming from a classical background, Christian was heavily influenced by the electronic scene of the early 90's and a passion for ethnic music. His incessant thirst for knowledge even attracted him to study instruments such as the sitar and the tingklik! In Ganga, he seems to have merged all his creative talents as his blend of electronic sounds, Balearic guitars, Asian infused strings and sensual vocals, truly feels like poetry to your ears. 'Don't wake me up' is the follow up to an astonishing first album and encapsulates everything that Ganga stands forpeace and tranquillity, blended with a natural and effortless beauty. Даже не знаю такого коллектива то.Че они пишут? эээ.. писали?)) К тому же я не уверен что мне нравиться старый саунд. Даже ЖМЖ и ОРБ - не особо, за исключением пары-тройки треков.А уж всякие неизвестные авторы тех времен - я не думаю что это интересно, или я ошибаюсь?

Это экспериментал.
Саунд там очень интересный, если будет возможность послушай, особенно этот альбом 87 ого года
Да и музыкой творчество этого коллектива назвать очень сложно) Похожего я ещё никогда не слышал и думаю врятли услышу)

Embraces all that is good about dance music and electronica, spiced up by the trademark Pitch Black blend of echoes, delays and deep, fat basslines.
The band have always been avowed fans of music in general (as opposed to any one style in particular), and it certainly shows here: the album kicks off with the lush 'South of the Line' before dubbing it up, year 3000 style, with '1000 Mile Drift'. 'Sonic Colonic' kicks the tempo up a gear as the only real four-to-the-floor stomper on the album. 'Bird Soul' reminds one that Paddy Free spent years producing Salmonella Dub, as it takes their guitar driven drum and bass style and wraps it in an ambient dub envelope.
'Harmonia' is an exquisite piece of electronica, reminiscent of Speedy J or Black Dog. It is followed by 'Rude Mechanicals', which marks a departure from the norm for the boys, featuring rapper KP from the infamous Sunshine Soundsystem, who waxes lyrical about the destruction being wrought on the planet by our environmental ignorance and general greed. 'Fragile Ladders' provides some much needed breathing space before 'Please Leave Quietly' destroys what is left of the bass speakers'!
Rude Mechanicals is a genre busting excursion in sound, heaving with warm basslines and complex rhythm's, topped up by haunting melodies and, for a change, cutting social commentary. To adapt a previous quote about them, this album is like 'Underworld meets King Tubby', in all the best ways possible..

Я конечно не про но по-моему разницы НА СЛУХ никакой.
Недавно сделал обычный тест: рипнул несколько трэков с оригинальных CD ("использовал" Sound Forge Audio Studio 8), сохранил в WAV, в 320kbps (самого высокого качества, HQ) и в 192kbps (HQ). Послушал (через мониторы TAPCO) - разницы (на слух) никакой.
Но если есть возможность скачать FLAC, качаю FLAC.

На слух никакой, а если посмотреть частотную характеристику, 192 режет частоту где-то до 17-18 kHz.
Да уж, на 192 оч даже качество падает. Я тоже не слышу разницу меж лослес и 320, но все ж качаю по возможности лослесс. Места теперь до фига стало, не то,что раньше))

хреновый у тя видать слух, или мониторы, хотя в 2 канала оно мож и неособо заметно, а вот на многоканальной акустике через ас3 фильтр зад булькает непонятными звуками даже в 320кб\с

В чем разница, "андеграундное" или "известное", непонятно, главное чтобы качало.
PS всех андеграундных не переслушаешь, да и в основном - некачественный звук у дилетантов, засорять мозг только. К тому же и сами Асура и Солар филд видимо входят в "известное", так ведь, тобич что просили то и написали вам, господин гурман))
